They're going to regret not taking the £40m City offered.

Sterling is a very good player, but he showed last season that he isn't ready to carry a team on his own - especially in Europe. No reason for potential buyers not to leave him where he is for now. He'll continue to develop while driving down his value.
 

The offended by everything crew are out in force on all social media. Post anything anywhere about Brent and they kick off! And they call Evertonians bitter and Twisted!!!!!!

I'll be very pleased with this news if City now move on to another target.

If they up their bid then I'm sure it'll be accepted and Liverpool will have basically been let off the hook for last summer's wasteful spending.

Havent seen any official rejection yet, happy to be corrected.
