If you remove the non-everton parts of their careers, I doubt keown or Neville are on telly at all. Kilbanes the only one I consider an evertonian. And Barton is exactly the wrong sort we want associated with us regardless of his loyalty.

Couldn't care less about PR, it means nothing. Liverpool have one of the best PR networks going and they're still the most detestable institution in football.
