ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC"

Bans for match fixing have nothing to do with on field issues.

They can't issue a world wide ban for this, when they didn't do that when Zidane stuck the nut in the final ffs

Zidane didn't have a history of violent conduct or racist abuse.

Suarez even headbutted a referee once. Everyone fails to mention.

“The referee had a broken nose and was bleeding like a cow.” - the independent

You can't compare Suarez with Zidane. Suarez has had THREE major bans in the last 4 years!

He'll still get off.

Surely Liverpool have played a major part in the inevitable happening again? He just happened to be playing for Uruguay. They way they've not only condoned his attitude in the past, but actually actively defended it/made it look like a conspiracy has played a part in Suarez carrying on thinking he's free to do what he wants. He's probably feeling like he's the victim in all this. Of course he needs to be banned at club level as well.

Very good point, the rs have kissed his arse over all his antics. He never once has to face the music at the rs, all they care about the goals he scored, they are too scared to be strict with him incase he walks.

RAWK are hurting. There's still tons of them in denial that Suarez isn't the anti christ and he has never bitten anyone. Even Fowler & Thompson have come out today saying he's a disgrace and they need to get rid. They don't like that!

I read so many posts on there last night...... and TBF the majority thought he was a disgrace .

The name of the referee who got headbutted by Suarez:

Luis Larranaga

Its really funny. They should rename that "portrait of a serial biter"

Instead of there has consistently been a cover up of his behaviour. For money or otherwise.

Journalists that cross them get shot.

"It was not a headbutt," he said, sounding triumphant. Then he explained what he learned. It was 2003. Suarez was 16, not 15. Nacional was playing Danubio, another local team, and Suarez never assaulted anyone. He simply protested a referee's decision when a bit of bad luck struck. Sure, his head hit the referee's face, but not on purpose.

"He fell," Martinez Chenlo said, "accidentally into the referee."

Just like he accidentally bitten three different people in three different countries.

Remarkable this. He must be the most unlucky player ever.

Honestly, once phil Thompson condemns you as a liverpool player you know you're guilty as sin.

"This is not the British media, the world's media is talking about this. He is playing for my football club and he's brought embarrassment, he's brought shame on the football club again."
