FFS.

How has it ?

I've just given you a list of £32m worth of players who have done [Poor language removed] all since being purchased. That's certainly remarkable i suppose.
We are obviously having some sort of communication break down. Here goes. Brendan bought players. They made us better. Five of them are now in our first team. They are all really good. We are doing much better this year than last year because of it.

So we will ignore the duds then?

If he signed 40 players and 7 turned out good would that be a good return?

Slight problem with that comparison is that 3 of those are loans, Barry the only one who's pretty certain to be here next summer ,lukaku won't and deulofeu maybe another season but doesn't have a long term career here, so even if some of their players turn out ****e (aspas) they can get something back for them but we've sunk a fair bit on loan fees that we can never recoup

At the start of the 15/16 season you can only see McCarthy and possibly Barry in the first XI, but with them you could put mignolet and sakho as definite starters for them and possibly alberto (only time I saw him play was the spurs game and he looked like he had some nice touches) and ilori (meant to be very highly rated in Portugal)

Why don't you come on here like Red and argue sensibly instead of pretending to be a blue? It'll stop making you look like a right tit.

I fail to see how them being loans is a problem.

We're paying their wages/a loan fee. Lukaku is probably costing us about £4m in total for a year. Barry will more than likely sign on a free in the Summer and is probably costing us about £60k a week with no loan fee. Deulofeu may end up costing us nothing if he makes enough appearances.

In comparison, Borini, Assaidi, Aspas, and Alberto cost Liverpool £20m+ and are all on the wage bill, while not a single one of them is making an impact in the first team.

Anybody who says they'd choose the latter because they might be able to sell them (good luck getting decent money) is bonkers.
Borini looks a bit ****e, but a decent loan spell at Sunderland could probably get a good chunk of that back
Assiadi was £2m or so and probably not on massive wages, so they can probably get that back, maybe even a small profit
Aspas did by all account a have a fair few suitors and wasn't that far off the Spain squad last season, so they could probably get a decent chunk of that back
Alberto has barely played, but I thought he looked decent against spurs, maybe one of those they want to blood slowly into the team?

Anyway, if you want to make these sorts of comparisons you have to take the whole record into account, not just pick and choose ones to suit your agenda, after all I'd say any 'wastage' on those 4 is more than made up by the amounts spent on sturridge, coutinho and mignolet

We're not really have a communication break down mate, you're just wrong.

He has bought players and they've made the team better, okay.

He's also bought players (and not cheaply) who are utter turd and would be lucky to stay in the Premier League, never mind a team with top 4 aspirations.

You say remarkable hit rate, but that's just.... not true.

No, not at all. I can see how my wording was ambiguous. The 5 first teamers are: Mignolet, Sakho, Allen, Sturridge, Coutinho. They are all successful transfers. The ones for future are: Borini, Alberto, Illori. Aspas was meant to be cover for our strikers following the Diego Costa deal not going through. The jury is still out on him. But, there aren't any obviously bad signings there, so I don't see what you mean.

Oh, I forgot the Moses loan. I'd class that as the poorest acquisition, but it's not such a big deal.

There is ffs

Allen "The Welsh Batty"
Borini
Alberto
Aspas
Illoris

They have done nothing to justify there transfer fee

Your defo a red.

Some facts for you.

50% of Barry's wages are being paid by Manchester City. 50% of Lakaku's wages are being paid by Chelsea.

Mccarthy is so much better than Joe Allen who is badly Adam/Henderson.

Oh and we've still got a chunck of change from the Fellaini/Anichebe sales to spend.

On players better than those turbo gash players you've signed.

Win win Everton.

How anybody can argue that Allen is a good signing is beyond me....... And don't get me started on sakho sh1t.

It's kopite logic I suppose, you can never win an argument against it.

I get that as 50/50 in terms of successful signings, and that's giving them Sakho despite the jury still being out on him massively as far as i'm concerned.
