ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC"

I believe that homosexuality and transsexuality is morally wrong.

So, you believe it's morally wrong of some people to be who they are, even if they're not harming you or anyone else in doing so?

How depressingly judgemental, arrogant and intolerant of you. Jesus would be so disappointed in you, I'm sure.

Here's my question:

Since many on here would vehemently disagree with my opinion, would it be fair to say that they would be "oppressive" or "prejudicial" against me and others who believe as I do?

No, Bill. Do you own a dictionary, by any chance?

And no, many people aren't better than that.

Ah, but so many are, thank goodness!

Many God-fearing folk were once racist, too, scarcely a few decades back, but they were shown to be fools, despite what they claimed their book and their faith told them. Now their views are laughably old-fashioned.

It will be the same with homophobia, one day. 'Tis all but mindless prejudice.

One day.

And I bet Jesus will be made up when it happens, given what I know of him. He seemed like a pretty tolerant, left-wing guy.

Lads.... Can I just make it clear.... Im not arsed if you're black, white, pink , brown , yellow, old, young, gay, straight, bi, Muslim, Jew, catholic or Scottish...... I'm not bothered.... Carry on.

The Liverpool players visited a local orphanage after training today " it's so so sad to see these people walking around with absolutely no hope and nothing to look forward too" said Sarah, aged 9.

I asked how you'd feel seeing a chinese lad with an Everton top on, if you'd also feel disdain like the chinese red tops.

My dad was never into football. My Nana is, and she supports Liverpool. She's from Hull, I'm from Germany.

Life isn't as simple as you think, mate. And Everton is for everyone, not just for those born within the 'sound' part of the Wool Map.

And by extension, the other clubs are also allowed to have fans from all over the world. That their marketing and money-skillz are superior to ours isn't in question.

When Everton do well this season (& the next ones) , there will be more people who will 'come out the woods' & espouse their appreciation.

We'd all better get used to it. nuthin wrong wid dat

(& seeing this a the RS thread, lookin' forward to us being above them & them droppin' points galore)

Look lads/girls, I'm new on here, directed here by a mate and laughed at a few of the jokes but are we not losing some respect by perpetuating this apparent month long myth. There used to be allegations bandied about one of our old managers and a player amongst others, and they were NOT that funny, nor were pounced upon with rabid abandonment by hordes of slavering reds.
This is a married man with a young family for gods sake, and at Christmas!.
Imagine going to your local and this fable had been passed around about YOU?.
Grow up and stop behaving like schoolkids, and being disrespectful, divisive, immature and and thoughtless morons posting this utter drivel.
No doubt the brain dead will still chant ****e at games, but never count me as an ally in this innapropriate victimisation.

I've read these last few pages with interest Clint and this quote of yours caught my eye. I'd like to ask this question to you and and anyone else who would like to answer.

I believe that homosexuality and transsexuality is morally wrong. That is what I believe and that is my opinion based on my faith and religious beliefs. Also, please don't assume that because I believe that it's morally wrong means that it's right to treat or discriminate against people who make that choice. I don't.

Do you disagree with my opinion and in what I believe? I suspect that you and a great many others do.

Here's my question:

Since many on here would vehemently disagree with my opinion, would it be fair to say that they would be "oppressive" or "prejudicial" against me and others who believe as I do?

You ask a great question. "Where does it stop?"

Well, I can tell you where it doesn't stop in terms of intolerance, hate, and political correctness. And no, many people aren't better than that.

It's not prejudicial if it's based on your stated beliefs ffs.

Anyway who bases their 'morality' on a stone age book largely written centuries after the made up events is a bonafide moron. Just my opinion like!

Seems like The Reservation is an anagram of EVERTON ARE ****E. What are we gonna do lads?, fancy meeting at the Royal Oak to form a vigilante gang?, I've got a strong rope....Oh hang on.....

Good spot - BUT without the final e.. so we're just S**t rather than S***e.. Who would have thought that one of theirs had the intelligence to work out such an elaborate anagram. All I can say to that is:

O LOL Alien Biscuit!! LOL!! Bravo Poo Facts!! (LAFC for those who can't work it out)

Jamie Carragher pays us a back-handed compliment:

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/fo...erton-good-Liverpool.html?ico=sport^headlines

Bunch of deluded bell ends the lot of them, thinking we want to emulate them when we have clearly been the better team for a couple of years now (and will finish above them again this year).

only read the first paragraph and stopped because it was derailing off to bitter and unkowledgable, surely there has to be one person out there other than an evertonian that thought we may actually benefit from not having moyes? one? carragher's taking the piss here, i couldn't sence ;) a compliment coming there so stopped.
