The myth that they've spent no money is unreal.

Yet they honestly believe heart and soul that they've been short-changed by every owner over that period.

Mentalists.

would love to see this posted in rawk...replies should be fun to read

He'll be managing some outfit like Sunderland in about 18 months, I reckon.

The feller has got by in the last 12 months by having Gerrard demand he ditch his filosofee of 'possession football' (in reality Joe Allen running round and passing to himself for ten minutes four times a game), and Luis Suarez's goals. He's a complete duffer as a manager and is about to be found out this season big time...and none of his boring homilies about 'trrrradition' and 'strrrrong family values' that the Kopites have let him rip with thus far will save him.

Cue lots of photo's of him next to ones of Shanks, plus mentioning him in each sentence.......

 The Kopites will love this:

"Hodgson unapologetic over Sturridge injury woe"

Roy Hodgson has no regrets over his decision to play Daniel Sturridge against Germany last month
http://www.liverpoolecho.co.uk/spor...land-manager-roy-hodgson-unapologetic-6363926

The England manager said: "Dan has pulled out of a few matches with us for injury reason. The first game he played (against Ireland) he got injured. It was important for me to, if you like, test his resolve a little bit. I suppose you could argue we did put his resolve a little bit to the test. I might have been guilty of putting that resolve to the test, but I don't apologise for it.

And I am delighted he did get out there, even though he maybe himself didn't feel 100 per cent because that means in future I will know I can trust him as an England player and he is not going to be playing when he feels like it - he is going to be playing when he's fit to play."

Sturridge's bad luck with injuries has continued since as he has been ruled out for up to eight weeks with ligament damage to his left ankle.
Hodgson is not concerned, however. "They are better getting injured now to be honest," Hodgson said with a smile.

Top popcorning by owl face there. Cap doffed.

hahahaha that is tremendous. With those quotes and the ones from Brenda, it does seem to answer the question of why the lad ended up at Liberpool.

You do realise it would be deleted straight away and you'd be blocked, right?

Snitch......... Why would it be deleted, it's just information that shows that the RS can't compete with City and Chelsea, they'll lap it up, until they look at the bottom.....

So true, that is the difference right there between Martinez and Rodgers. Even in the face of relegation Martinez would not change his principles. He demanded that even players like Caldwell passed it out from the back. The quality wasn't there at Wigan but hopefully at Everton it sets us up with a way of playing that eventually we will adapt to and become even more successful at. Rodgers 'philosophy' of tiki taka 4-3-3 'if plan A fails make plan A better' 'I learned it on my tour of Spain' possession football was discarded iwthin three months when he realised Gerrard has to face the way he's playing and needs ten yards space around him at all times to swing long diagonals about. Like every manager before him he pandered to Gerrard and built his formation int he exact same way every other Liverpool manager for the past 20 years has: Everyone defend, soak up the attacks, give it to Gerrard on the break and he'll launch one to our fast striker upfront, then pick up the scraps from there. Benitez almost perfected it but thankfully decent football won out over the measured kick and rush that lot played. They should go back to what they were oding at thebeginning of the season KITAP 1 Moyes style even against average teams. They've become a set piece team with one excellent striker and a decent keeper. Any illusions they have of the title are just that, illusions.

I see Brenda is claiming that the reason he sold the Donkey was to make the Rat a better player, so it's all down to him that Ratboy is a good player.........

This season Suarez has cut down on almost every negative aspect of his 'on field' personality.

Clearly someone has had a word about how it devalues him and makes him unattractive to quality suitors.

The fact that he has been able to control it so easily negates the 'excuse' of him being an impulsive 'winner' caught up in the moment of the game and 'losing control'.

Everything he does is premeditated.

Like a psychopath.

Also on the Echo link regarding Sturridge/Hodgson:

"Time to tell Hodgson to do one ! Stevie G not the same LFC player for us since Hodgson took over England."

So it's Hodgson's fault Gerrard got old?

Lovely comment there wondering if Everton ever had any 'glory days'.

Yes we were doing rather well until the deaths of 39 Italians - openly celebrated by the Kop with their SB banners.

Someone here got slated for calling Suarez a "Holocaust of a human being".

I prefer to call him a "Heysel of a human being".
