Udinese showed flashes of quality but were largely very average and had to rely on their finishing and a lucky OG, imo. Thought Liverpool deserved something, defo. Still, they created very little in terms of goalscoring opportunities for the amount of possession they had.

Anyway... LOL

They're just grafters. The only time they look remotely out of the bog standard ordinary is when Sterling gets on the ball.

This tika taka willl only work when you have players who can constantly manage controlled passes and don't give the ball away in defence or midfield. Udinese sussed them after the first half, stopped their passing game. Great game, fun result
 

i said at the start they won't qualify from that group. have no idea why rodgers is playing all the youngsters though, gunna be a while before he gets them back in to europe and a good run could have bought him some more time before his inevitable hounding
 
Had a text off my Red mate, I told him the Europa League was a good way to blood the youngsters and he said "Yeah, we'd win it if we wanted to but the league is the priority"

Nice of them to let another team win it this year.. :dodgy:
