Glad he got a hefty ban my only problem is that I worry because its more than the racism incident - thus making the bitting incident worse than Suarez and Terry previous.
The FA really need to sort out a proper structure when dealing with such incidents and be consistent.

Make it clear regardless whether referee sees an incident or not in some extreme cases will get a higher match ban rather than the 3 games. At the moment they are clueless.
Also reds can't be too angry with the ban hasn't rugby been harsh on players previously when biting/gouging occurs.
However after all this cant see them getting rid of him or hurting the brand in the States. Look at ice hockey. They will still have lots of fans

It's not because it's worse than racism at all, it's because it's severe and not his first offence.
