Lad at work reckons they'll get at least £50 million for him.
Also that Fellaini isn't worth more than "£11 or £12 million."
Bless.
He's correct lad isn't he?

Every red I've spoken to this week has said, and I quote almost ad verbatim, 'this Rodgers is not the answer. He never was the answer - bring Rafael back'.
Almost identical statements from all of them.
When he leaves Chelsea in May, I reckon he'll sit tight back on Merseyside living off some of the £6M pay off he got last time........sat there biding his time, making the odd comment to the press about his 'love for Liverpool & how he's waiting for the right opportunity after Chelsea" just waiting for the trigger to be pulled on Rodgers.
The mere fact that he'd be out of work, will have the RS shouting for his comeback every time they got beaten & will increase the pressure on the bogus Irishman massively.

Rafael will never get the Liverpool job as long as FSG own them

Brendan Rodgers believes Borussia Dortmund's success has shown it is possible for Liverpool to take "the hardest step of all" and achieve Champions League qualification without huge investment.
"You can challenge [for the top four] without spending £80m in one summer," Rodgers said. "Look at the example of Borussia Dortmund. A team that won the Champions League and then struggled financially. They went out and rebuilt and it took them four to five years to push on. Then they won the league and their European work suffered. This year you can see they have put their focus on Europe and they have lost their title. That's a team that has been growing over five years.
"Unless you have got the Manchester City or Chelsea money and just bring in £70m-£80m worth in one summer to add to a Champions League-winning group, you need a different way. I think this [Dortmund's] is the best way because you are not just looking after the team but also the club. Of course, supporters will always look at the team but for me it's bigger than that to have success. It's about all aspects of the club, so that when you do arrive you are in a strong position."

There's serious talk here in Spain that he'll be Madrid manager next season. He could get the job, but he does seem to isolate himself with his love of Liverpool chat.
Not so sure that their view on him would be the same if Rodgers was taking them nowhere after a couple of months of next season.
For all their BS, they NEED CL football, it's intrinsic to their financial model, as they won't be capable of sustaining the level of current sponsorship without it for much longer. So I fully expect them to act quite quickly next season if they start anything less than well & the FSW is a proven manager for them, I reckon he'll get the gig.
