Hahaha.

Luis Suarez caused more controversy after appearing to jab at an opponent he was tussling with last night.

Cameras picked up the Uruguay forward striking Chile's Gonzalo Jara in the face in a World Cup qualifier.

Defender Jara - who plays for West Brom - flinches but otherwise does not react as the hand connects with his face.

Home fans at the stadium responded to the clash by chanting a vulgar song about the 25-year-old Liverpool star.

However, many on Twitter backed Suarez, pointing out that Jara had hold of him with both arms.

'Ryan Reid' tweeted: "One of the only strikers that will dig a defender back instead of just crying to the ref."

And 'JJtoLFC' added: "How can people call that a punch from Luis Suarez. Hardly touched him."

Chile won the crucial South American qualifier 2-0 to take a massive step towards qualification for Brazil 2014

Seriously, can someone that is reaching the end of a glittering career bring the curtain down on it by finishing this tw@ once and for all.

You owe us Skip, an it's not like you'll be heading into town with bro for a meal that often so kopite backlash wont be an issue.

Remember when Jara got Arteta sent off in that 4-1 West Brom game? I remember wanting to do the same thing to Jara that day. Both of them are nasty pasties.

looks like that thing that Uncles etc used to do coupled with the same noise as when you do a horses hoof impression.

if anything it just tells future opponents that they should not fear a retaliatory punch from him, all they need to do is Beware the teeth and studs.

so fellaini is literally bear-hugged by shawcross, does the headbutt and punch( which he was heavily given **** for all over) and they're calling him a disgrace but that little rat has one arm around his waist and throws a jab.. but that's ok?

you'd love to think so but he's going to get a huge money move this summer. hope it happens before that so the ****e can't use his money, much like what happened with Eduardo and arsenal (even tho he wasn't a snide little ****)

i wish djibril cisse saved one of his leg breaks for suarez, at the time it was good, but now i wish him and suarez had one each.

we all dream of the day we're just casually walking down a blind alley after cricket training and suarez walks past whilst you have you cricket bat, you wouldn't say no to cracking his ankles and knee caps would you?
