Aldridge is the living personification of the Spirit Of Heysel. I would love to tattoo 'Steaua Bucharest' across his forehead.
He seemed a likeable lad so we stuck up for him and when he left we wanted to see him do well at West Ham.
So for him to come out with rubbish like that was a real kick in the plums. I know he wants to endear himself to people back in London but what a crazy way to do it.
He should realise how huge Liverpool are around the world.
haha, so how is joe cole pleasing people in london by saying that??
you can't be the biggest team in the league if you're not the most successful and haven't won the thing in 20 odd years aldo you tard
But they would've won everything mate, if it wasn't for the conspiracy...
true, but then again huddersfield would have won every premier league title since 1992 if the FA let them into the league

Aldridge called Joe Cole a disgrace over his "Liverpool aren't the biggest club in the country any more" comments..
I'm not sure I agree with this.
Don't you know about THE conspiracy?
In the mid-eighties Sir Alex of Whiskey Nose got together with Thatcher, tHE Queen, the FA and Michel Platini (who wasn't employed by UEFA at this point but that doesn't matter) and several others who for the time being shall remain nameless. They plotted for the long term in annihilating Libpool Futball Club.
It all began by employing Chelsea fans/West Ham fans/The National Front/ Everton Fans dressed in Libpool Futball Club shirts who frequented the Derby Arms/The Cat Protection League. They were given tickets to Heysel and framed the great and the good (although I'm told it was Juventus fans fault anyway, they started it and did it to themselves, I heard this part from a middle aged lady on Radio Merseyside in the late 90's).
The next part of the plan was to make Dalglish stressed. Dalglish leaving had nothing to do at all with Dalglish taking over from Paisley with Paisley's back room staff and long successful squad still in place, with money freely available to cherry pick the top talent in the league and still not having the success his former manager had. It also had nothing to do with said squad aging and poor replacements being brought in. The truth is Souness ruined that club, it was all his fault. He had a deal in place with Whiskey Nose because they both supported Rangers and Dalglish supported Celtic who also sing YNWA. Also, Souness wasn't nice to Carralar.
And that my friend it just the start...
Best comment under the Aldridge whine:
"Typical footballer, blaming his failings on everything but himself."
Hmmmm... Sounds like a typical Kopite attribute to me.
Nuri Sahin has criticised the Liverpool manager, Brendan Rodgers, for playing him out of position during his six-month loan spell earlier this season.
Sahin made 12 appearances for Liverpool on loan from Real Madrid but failed to make any real impact, and claims his lack of success was down to a disagreement with Rodgers.
The 24-year-old, now on loan at Borussia Dortmund, told AS: "I did not fail at Liverpool. Brendan Rodgers wanted me to play as a number 10. But I do not play behind the strikers.
"I talked to him and asked him why he was playing me there. It is not my real position. The coach could not answer me … Still, no regrets. To play at Anfield was a wonderful experience. And maybe if I had not gone there I would not have been able to return to Borussia Dortmund. For that, I am happy. Thank God I have left Brendan Rodgers."
Sahin said he felt much more settled at Dortmund. "I feel good physically and mentally, everything is perfect. After returning to Germany I feel much better. Here my goal is to finish second, because the Bundesliga title is difficult. But, with a little bit of luck, we want to go for the Champions League."
When he first arrived at Anfield, Sahin said he had chosen to join Liverpool because of Rodgers. "The only reason I am here is that I know that I can play football, I know that I have a manager who trusts in me and the way I play, and I am at a huge club," he said in August. "That is why I am here … He told me about English football and said that I would love the Premier League because it is the best league in the world. I made my own mind up about Brendan Rodgers."
