This to a tee, its as if the players deserve better than to be playing for us, they completely disragard our history as its not in keeping with Sky's portrayal of 'the big clubs'

exactly its this, if some yank bought us tomorrow and promised us a transfer warchest Sky woul have us as media darlings and you can bet all this transfer talk would end. Just remember Villa when they were up there with us.

what other team has their best players and manager constantly linked with moves away? and by that, a story probably once every fortnight and a few every transfer window.

like I said it happened the summer with modric and redknapp bollocked the media and since then they have left spurs alone they dont even mention Bale moving every week unlike baines and felli who are already playing in Utd and chelsea shirts respectively.

go on any article on any transfer article on the daily fail website and read the comments, always comments from fans saying "stop trying to sell our players, why does the daily fail have an agenda against us"

Not really as bad as that mate and I can see what you mean, but when our players are touted its 'Baines to Utd for £12m' or 'Fellaini £22m buy-out clause'. Thats not even close to a true reflection of their values, yet Modric was touted at £40m to Madrid (went for £30 i think?) and Suarez to City at £40m?

IF they have to, at least have the common decency to put a believable figure instead of lowering it because we are skint to make people think we would take any offers for any of our players.

My opinion anyway - not that I take any notice of the tabloids.
