Liverpool have done incredibly well this season, play great football and have some cracking players. They’re easy to support.

We have Allardyce, play crap football and a bunch of bottlers who can’t be bothered. We are hard to support.

And when was the last time we actually got behind Everton the same way though? These shower haven't won anything for years and still turn up on droves to support the team.

Where were we 2 years ago? Wembley semi final and we bloody booed the team off then as well!

It's really not though. As said, City don't have the mindset of a big team - they're still a nouveau riche second fiddle club in their own heads. Liverpool, despite having half the actual quality on the pitch, believe they are European giants; it's entrenched in the club.

It would have been a surprise if anything other than this had happened. If it were a general Premier League game, just one in a 38 game season, City would have walloped them. But in Europe? Different mindset required - City don't have it and haven't had it since they first got oil rich. They never have.
