Indeed it is. The gas is Nitros Oxide which was previously famous for its use by those idiots who mod their nan's Nova or Renault Clio.

It's commonly called laughing gas as it can give you fits of giggles and euphoria, but can also starve you brain of oxygen along with other stuff.
