Still can’t rest easy with that lot until they’re out. Only they could draw that piss easy group, draw 3 games in it yet still be favourites to finish top. If they do then I’d put money on them drawing Porto or Basle and then only playing second legs at Anfield from there on in. As usual the previously imperious Real Juve Atletico and Barca now all look a bit flaky this year just when those horrible RS will be looking to fluke their way through two legged ties.
Am I right in thinking that if Spartak and Sevilla win in the next round of games then the RS don't qualify?

Can’t see Spartak doing anything at Anfield but at least it’s another game of hard running for their first team rather than a dead rubber.

Sevilla will definitely win against Maribor, then it all comes down to RS vs Spartak. Spartak have to win but tonights result means that the RS will have to go full strength a few days before the derby whereas we could probably not even send a squad out, pay a marginal fine and at least get more rest and preparation time for the game.
