Just let this sink in.... the Chairman of the "5 Times" Liverpool Former Players Association.. (isn't that a bit of a sad title, as though they might forget) is... well, I'm too stunned to say .. you'll just have to guess or read the spoiler

John Aldridge

Of course that lot would struggle to find someone of the calibre of a Brian Labone or a Dave Hickson but.. really?

John Aldridge

Presumably they asked the

Tommy Smith

or maybe they asked the

Terry McDermott

Or

Robbie Fowler

so they settled on:

Youth team lad abusing John Aldridge

I took great pleasure in seeing Gerrard slip, to allow Demba Ba to score. "This does not slip" it was a masterpiece lol I work with Scousers who are very loud and vocal of their love for their team. That's fine most of the time, but when I've got a sore head from the drink - It's like 7 hours of torture! They're harmless lads, just a bit loud. lol

They've clearly dug their heels in to keep Coutinho, fair play for that but I can still see him leaving in January to join Barcelona. Salah looks a good signing, but they're still really poor defensively (especially set pieces) so I can't see them finishing in the top 4. Don't rate Sturridge even when he was in fine form, very selfish striker who only cares about scoring - Not winning.

You're well over-due a thumping win over them! When do you play them at Goodison?

Mate, you could start losing friends on here.

Je didn’t mean anything by it. Just probably did r want to be reminded when the match is.

I see! I thought I made an error saying it's at Goodison Park for the next match when it's at Annfield. But I remembered I was right 'cos I watched the game at Annfield because that young lad scored for you only for them to score again seconds later. So, I was confused why he said "I'll lose friends" lollollol

It'll take me a few weeks to get to grip with the humour on here...Bear with me ;)

(Thanks for walking me through that one)

:D

So the chairman of 5times is 0times - I'd never heard of it, but it was enough to make me have a look at their website and I'd recommend it to anyone that needs a bit of cheering up:

Filled with classics like this:

45 quid to meet and greet "God" (as he is known, no laughing, no added irony included) - jeezus wept.

Here's a beaut: Mane the Victim - not so much a mistake by the ref - more of a complete crucifixion.

Full of BS like "thousands told us" about the Mane sending off - there is no evidence that such numbers contributed..

Still, at least the buffoon unearthed Angel Cake's pic of Fantascruff as a kid

Annfield closed in 1983, Stirling Albion now play at Forthbank

Imagine if our fans were even 10% as passionate and supportive of that lot.

There’s one major, major difference between the two clubs as a fan base; they get behind their team no matter what.

Just imagine if it was Everton who were 3-0 down against AC Milan in the CL final. There’s not a chance in hell we’d have been able to pull that back. They got behind their team and believed they could do it even when the odds were stacked against them. There’s just no belief that we can succeed, and that’s a large part of why we’ll never be as successful as them.

It depends... I saw genuine tears against Crystal Palace a few years ago... lol
