The Echo eejits at the back on the crayoning desk probably did it because they made a rudimentary clumsy attachment to those Benitez Cardinal imbeciles. The papers like something written by 14 year olds.... and in the same's mindset.

Munich are about 4 weeks behind our pre season and they were missing Vidal, lahm, neuer, robben and more.

Plus they took it FAR more seriously. Im guessing, as I didn't watch it.

Bundesliga starts the same weekend as the EPL,if anything yesterday showed the Bayern team looks stale and old.

Lahm has retired,Robben and Ribery are in their mid 30's and far past it and vidal is on the wrong side of 30 now,just like Barca right now the cycle has finished with the great Bayern team that won the treble under Heynkes in 2013.

Both Barca and Bayern need total rebuilds to their 1st eleven,both teams the last 24 months have spent heavily with bad recruitment and none of those signings are mainstays in the team,£58 million pound Sanches was awful yesterday...Equally as bad as Gomes who Barca bought for over £40 million and are trying to use as a makeweight to get Coutinho.

If anything yesterdays game showed the RS are starting a year 2 of a Klopp side with everyone in tune with that counter pressing style and a Bayern team that needs fresh blood,RS pace and counters were showing how slow the bayern team is in their defensive shape,that what happened when Barca and Real spanked them when Pep was Bayern manager in those CL semi finals,their back line is slow AF in defensive transitions and adding snail paced Hummels hasn't fixed it.

Laugh all you want. We would be chuffed to beat Bayern, instead we struggle to beat some tiny Slovaks. If we don't buy some pace, like real pace, we are going to struggle to beat teams. We've got nothing on the counter attack whatsoever

i'd rather win a competitive game than a friendly, myself.

I think we can definitely laugh, can't wait for this season of theirs, i really hope they start off the season just as they did last season, by the winter, with their paper thin squad and possibly european football of some sort they'll be utterly goosed. The fall from all the hype their fans will generate will be epic vaulting again.
