ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC"

I love how they are now saying, it's always been about top 4 this season. Lad I know was banging his teeth about if they are in the top 2 at Christmas they'll run away with it because that's was Klopp does.

Utter utter mutants! Delusion beyond the realms of possibility the massive scruffs!

Could be worse mate, I had two friends yesterday say they don't care about the league cup game. Why ? Do most fans want out at the semi final stage ? Do they not care about silverware ?

Answer is they don't want to face United incase they get beat. Not bitter or anything like.

Being a club legend is nowhere near enough to guarantee results - for every Dalglish Mk1 (plus great side) or George Graham there's a Shearer, Alan Ball or Bobby Charlton or a Souness and any number of failures at Man City - in fact the vast majority of great managers were rather ordinary footballers (or even in the case of the likes of CL winners like Benitez and Mourinho hardly a footballer at all).

What might distinguish a footballer on the pitch (and with Gerrard it's a moot point anyway whether he was anything more than a club legend) doesn't make a great manager (and if the Kopites want evidence - Shankly was decent, Paisley and Evans were gash, Souness was great player but a very ordinary manager, Benitez, Houllier, Hodgson and Rodgers nothing (or even less) as footballers, Klopp an ordinary footballer). So, let's see Mr No-Brains trying to get that extra 10% out of players who don't give as much as he thought he did for the RS.. and how he reacts when it doesn't happen.. it might work at the U23 level with lots of impressionable (and one supposes half-decent) kids but the PL will be a different ball game. He's going to be another Sound-as-a-Pound Aldo getting nasty with the failures - he'll lose the dressing room in 12 months and then what will happen to his RS Legend Status?
Don't say this, Koeman was a cracking player :(

When he say's "Have they got a slip in them" around 1:50 you see him smirk

Bullets in the post

Don't ever be fooled into Jake Humphreys. He is a closet red - actually maybe not even trying to hide it.
BT sports cream themselves over LFC, a prime example was Saturday, Firmino scores his first and one small rendition of Liiiiiverpoool, liiiiiverpoool comes out. Cue the commentary something like 'and the Kop has roared to life' or 'anfield is up for this' type of remarks.

Anfield is a morgue 99% of the time, even decent reds acknowledge this - but not BT.
I hope they go bankrupt quicker than setanta, the kopite sucking beauts.

WTF is Klopp thinking of letting that viper in?

He should have made it plain on the quiet that box head wasn't to be allowed anywhere near a job at that club while he was manager.

Hilarious. Gerrard is going to start conspiring from day one.

Personally think he will get the gig, bring in carragher as the brains whilst gerrard is the face of the club.
Gerrard will win countless trophies and become a managerial great - greater than fergie. Whilst carragher gets nothing.

For years I said Gerrard wouldn't be the same without Carragher behind him, Liverpool's defence as a whole hasn't been the same since Carragher left.

If he does get the manager's job he'll be more Souness reign than Dalglish reign.

The feller just cant live without the oxygen of media exposure, just like Sewerness before him. Gerrard wants to be back in football over here for all the wrong reasons, imo.

BT Sports is a rebrand of Setanta and is notoriously pro Manchester United and Liverpool, due to their Irish roots. 6 of their 9 listed 'football experts' are Liverpool and United players; the other three aren't footballers.

It's a bit of a masterstroke by Klopp I reckon. Brings Stevie Me into the fold, thus appeasing the fans. But the fact is he's teaching 9 year olds to kick a ball in a straight line and is well away from the first team. I've felt all along Klopp had the measure of the fans with all those touchline antics and hipster demeanour...it's obvious seeing as he managed LFC MKII in Germany

Klopp doesn't lose semi-finals, so I fully expect them to beat Southampton.

Finals you say ? How many has he lost on the spin ? Rather see them lose to United at Wembley and finish 5th.

Looks a good bet now.
