Are we really playing the "our owner is richer than theirs" game?

Embarrassing stuff lads.

It doesn't matter how much cash our owner has, it's all about how much he is willing to pour into our coffers.

I don't trust our owners or Bill one iota. Other clubs like City would have signed Schneiderlin by now without haggling over a few million.

Don't do it to yourselves - we looked like clowns in the summer getting excited about Mourinho and Mata coming, look how that ended up.

Oh look it's Derek being negative.

Why shouldn't they haggle over millions? I call that being responsible baring in mind possible FFP implications.

Nobody is playing that game mate, but I was merely correcting factual inaccuracies. When faced with kopite liars I feel it's my duty to humanity to straighten the facts out. The fact is, even on his own, with only part of his portfolio taken into account with a conservative estimate, our owners new worth is greater than their chairman to the tune of several hundred million pounds.

All but Chelsea have European football commitments, so they can't really use that excuse - not that it will stop them.
