ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC"

I don't know. They were punching above their weight getting him. I would guess Klopp would have had one inserted if a major major club came in...especially BM.

Sad as it Is to say it mate, but living in dreamland, klopp is a rare thing, a footy romantic, he will stick at them at least 3-4 years and likely a few more, he's the anti mourinho who needs almost a ready made team at the top, he actually seems to revel in taking a team on its arsenal who had a much better past and trying to bring that glory back. He wil l turn down any job until he feels he's reached the end of the road at them, which will take years...

Sadly think he will do as well within the next few years.

Spew and Vomit.

I think he knows he has to prove himself again a bit at a tier two status European club before landing a giant of the game like Bayern. If he gets Liverpool top four (having already taken a dross team of theirs last season to both a LC and EL final), that, added to his record at Dortmund, could see Bayern call him back. He's a very good manager.

My only doubt as to the above scenario panning out would be Klopp's temperament. I think BM tend to go conservative.

I'm not sure 'conservative' is the right word, from Hitzveld to Ancelotti their managers have been rather classy other than those who have been short term failures and sacked.

Klopps clearly someone who falls into the 2nd bracket and i dont think they would want a chap with such a demeanour and dodgy record at the end of his tenures ar Mainz and Dortmund.

Also I dont think top players would be keen to play for him...which is why he will be at liverpool for a while before setting off the doomsday device

Disagree. I think most players would want to play in his teams.

On any reasonable list of top European managers he'd be up there and in with the likes of Guardiola, Conte, Ancelotti, Simeone.

I'm not sure. I recognise the pitch though, because it's the one the Kopites were fed when he turned up and they couldn't believe their luck in landing him and were concerned it wouldn't last long. And I doubt there's a manager out there who, if someone stuck a microphone under their nose, wouldn't say that they were at a new club to build a team.

Personally, I reckon he'd be severely tested by any BM approach.

Must say, I'm prepared for them to ruin my Christmas by beating us on the 19th December, but if we could somehow contrive to win it'd be a brilliant week leading into Crimbo ;)

Far as i am concerned we are getting battered in the derby, so anything better will be great.

But thinking back reading your post, what month was the Carsley winning derby in...........?
