ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC"

You keep believing that mate. He may not have a good record in Finals, but he has won Finals and seems to get to them quite regularly. It wasn't so long ago people were saying he's got a lot of average players, a rebuilding job was on the cards. He's kept pretty much the same team and has got them performing, to such an extent that they're now 2nd favs for the League. Score loads of goals and mostly without playing a out and out Striker. They attack in numbers, goals can come from anywhere. If only we could commit numbers whilst attacking instead of relying solely on Rom to come up with something. Regardless of what you think of him/them, you can't help but look on and accept that he's doing a good job. Not quite sure how you can claim Klopp has changed nowt from the Gnashers regime. He's changed it massively, it's there for all to see. If only our highly rated Manager could get our under performers performing. If only our highly rated Manager was as good.

Know what? I'll pish meself laughing when they fail again. And I'll continue to tell those that keep harping on about how they're meant to bee good enough to reach the heights you lot seem to think they'll reach that they're just not good enough.

What I won't do is say they're better than every other team in the cups when they were only the 8th best team in the league last season. I won't flatter them (and deceive meself into the bargain) by kidding meself they're good enough to get top 4, win a pot, and still kick on from that even if they do.

They finished 8th after all the same garbage last season. They were gonna win everything then, and they won piss-all.

And it was a fair reflection, too. I don't believe for one nanosecond they've improved that drastically. Nor should anyone else. You're as deluded as them if you do. They're nowhere near as good as (And most definitely no better than) an overlong-transitional stage untied, a previously well below par chelsea, a much improved spurs and a consistent top 4 arsenal.

Difference between them & us at the minute is they've got the balls to push for a win. And that's it.

Motivator, schmotivator. Hasn't got that good a record in finals has he?

They're the same blag merchants they were under gnashers. Klopp changed nowt.
Not really talking about finals. I'm saying he will lead them to a top four slot and then they CAN attract the talent they couldn't for a few seasons.

He is a good manager. He's a winner and not the no mark chancer the other feller he took over from was. We'll lose touch with these if Klopp remains and fancies building a dynasty. I'm hoping Bayern will step in and end that prospect.

hate to agree with this.

i wanted Klopp at us way before they got their dirty grip on him, he did brilliant at Dortmund. Now I can't stand the fella, ffs.

I'll be happy as anyone to see them fail again, but to ignore the improvement Klopp has made & to suggest nothing has changed from the previous regime is shortsighted in the extreme. I don't think they'll reach any heights, for me they're not yet good enough but thats not to say he hasn't improved them. He has. But thats what good managers do. I'd suggest that the difference between us and them is they have a good Manager,

'they have the balls to push for a win' is tantamount to saying they play attacking football and we don't. There's the difference, right there. I'd say that was a pretty big difference.

I'd have him or his successor at Dortmund, Tuchel.

Two managers who can get a move on with teams and have them playing fast attacking football quickly.

Nope.

They have the MSM telling us he's a good manager. An instant fit into the PL, whereas most other foreigners have to learn their PL trade.

They finished 8th. Results were no better under him than they were gnashers. Gnashers might've had his own Tv show, but even he didn't need to take the team to the hill o'piss to take a bow after getting a home draw against bromwich to have them eating out of his hand...

Blag merchant.

No?

They 'picking up a trophy' with their weekly shop, then? :)

The only way I can see them getting top 4 is with a sewerez type player changing their fortunes, just like gnashers had.

They ain't got one. So I think they won't. Or win a pot.
The cup win was secondary; the top four for a club like them geared to CL is primary.

They have two players like Coutinho and Lallana who can change games with an unexpected moment of quality. Yes they need a goal scorer to rival Strurridge and yes they need to defend better. But you could pick holes in all the top four aspiring teams.

Liverpool have tough away fixtures out the way and are joint top with a quarter of the season gone and with their rivals set to play way more games.

It's looking good for them and I'd expect them to buy in January too.

I always admired him at Dortmund. Even though at first he looked slightly frayed at Liverpool and possibly out of his depth, seemingly not so.

Unfortunately for us, he appears to be a huge step up from Brenda and someone who can maximise the talent at his disposal.

Perhaps he's not always got a plan B. Perhaps his team will tire over the season or he won't sign the calibre of talent he did at Dortmund.

Either way, he's their manager who has concerned me the most for a long long time.

Wassamarra you, eh? o_O

Last season Loysturr couldn't do right for doing wrong - Even as late as Mid-April.

These clowns have done nothing of note as yet, and you're predicting a rosy future for them in November?

The difference between Klopps RS and Rodgers RS is night and day. Looking at some of the other posts here, you're own your own. I understand you hate them but to deny the obvious improvement is making you look foolish. Is it really impossible for you to have a sensible discussion about them? You're showing yourself up as being uneducated and lacking simple football knowledge.
