Hodgsons not stupid, he knows that the whole media are kopite run. If he picks as many Liverpool players as possible he knows that the squad will get media approval.
Based on this season you wouldn't have even one Liverpool player in the squad. Sturridge hasn't been fit and the rest are nowhere near international quality. Here's where Ibe and Flanagan make the full squad along with Henderson Sturridge Milner Lallana and Wisdom FML.
Hogdson does know how the media work and is fully aware of how it is infected with Kopites. But he also knows the media in a wider context, so will also have noticed the clamour for Barkley and Alli to start along with Kane. If these 3 don't start he will get slaughtered the moment it goes wrong and not even playing a whole LFC contingent would save him as it did in Brazil.

I think we are going to see an utterly farcical situation where all the players you've listed - particularly the midfielders - get picked, and with Alli now on the scene I think Ross da Boss is going to be the one 'controversial' omission.
