You have to laugh though, the beauts are blaming Rodgers for the latest run of results because these were his players. the other laughable thing is, the same beauts were the one's saying (after beating Man City) that this squad of players (Rodgers squad of players) could win the league!

I hold my hand up to thinking Gomez and Firminho would be top class for them.

Gomez although still young of course can be compared to Galloway who looked FAR better...of course over time Gomez may develop but now i understand why we didnt go for him when we found a better player of similar age.

Firminho has been a disaster for them. Not sure why he hasnt performed under Klopp either as he should know how good he was in Germany and how to get him going...maybe a case of the Kagawa's ? Cost a fortune as well.

The rest of them other than coutinho are pretty average at best. Without Skrtel and his "antics" the defence on paper looks atrocious...the midfield looks weak and havent they got their £20mil winger Markovic on loan somewhere in portugal?! Madness...

I can understand them saying the squad is poor but like you say, not long ago it was title quality....

Klopp, for me should be getting more out of the players...

Whats happened with Emre Can? Rated as one of the best prospects in Germany and then now looks a poor comparison..

Theyve got a handful of good players and then the rest are awful.

Suppose similar to us after 8 ish players we have dross BUT we dont claim to be going for the title...

2) "You just don't get it, he's rebuilding the club bottom up". Ie placing Klopps impact at a spiritual level. An impact that can't be measured of course so there is no way to challenge the assertion.
3) "Injuries". Not factoring in Klopps own playing style is having an adverse affect on players who can't cope with the physical demands he has.
4) "All we need is Sturridge". The same Daniel Sturridge who has averaged 8 goals a season as a pro footballer. Yea like he's the answer.
5) "They are not Klopps players." A fair point. They have brought absolute dross to date. It's the only decent excuse that can be used for him. He has an average squad and they are performing as we would expect currently. Why people think Klopp is magically going to unearth bargains though, given the Transfer Committee has remained is a mystery though. Likewise it doesn't say a lo for Klopps motivational ability.

Lets face it, Klopp is a borderline fraud. He avoided taking jobs at big clubs in the summer because he knows he would be found out and probably sacked quite quickly. He has found a mid ranking club with delusions. He'll feed the delusion and get a couple of years out of it. Then he'll be back to clubs like Mainz getting them relegated again.

Comparing to us:


1-- Martinez is doing this which we know is from the youth teams and above...youre the one watching the u21s etc but it seems to me that Foulds was signed because Galloway has stepped up...the loans now and basic restructuring of players development show hes long term...

Klopp we have no idea what his long term plans are there...granted im not clued up on them but their SUPERSTAR next gerrard rossiter is out of contract in the summer....how can that be?

2--Guess same as 1

3-- Weve all got injuries havent we? Utd more than most yet weve lost 3 of our back four and our best midfielder already this season....what injuries have they had when they can loan out £20mil Markovic? Isnt it just sturridge and Coutinho from their first choice eleven so far? Suppose who knows what their first choice eleven is?

4-- Yeah and they bought Benteke only last summer and Origi who was meant to be world class yet was one of the worst players in france last year. Dont they look at the money spent? For us we sign Lukaku and hes our only forward....they have several who somehow dont fit their system!?!!

5-- Same as Martinez in a way slowly moving on Moyes players...but Klopp can basically bring in a lot at once....

My thinking is that when Joe Royle took over as manager he changed our style and motivated the players to the cup and up the league.....Klopp is supposed to be a master motivator and tactician yet is doing worse than rodgers and his only tactics are to run around alot.

Theyre an easy target....but im genuinely wondering who their best players are...?

They have spent so much money on Lovren,Sahko and yet Skrtel is first choice? Thought Can was meant to be a future german star but seems to be a utility player for them?

Benteke and Origi are both forwards who could surely do a job as they cost well over £40mil combined...they must offer something?

Henderson is an england international with more caps than Barkley i think so surely he has some quality in midfield?

Why and how can they be doing so poorly? Especially with Klopp there...and not rodgers?

Makes no sense to me...
