I still can't get my head around it. Imagine a disabled woman who's sat on the kop for years and all she's asking is to see Gerrard come onto the pitch for his final game yet you've got grown man obsessed with flags and banners who think it's OK to obstruct peoples views on such an occasion. All because they crave the media attention and their ex-pro's telling them how great they are. LOOK AT US, WE'RE STILL RELEVANT.
Then when someone who's paid good money objects, a thug with previous threatens the bloke so much a judge, who you know, has probably heard all the evidence and that, thought it fitting to make him wear a tag for 3 months. Yet you get moderators on their site in a foul mouth rant against the club and the innocent bloke and his missus. One poster then says he knows the couple and they are completely harmless yet they'd still rather defend some lout. They aren't just thick. They are absolute balloons. They are by far and away the stupidest breed known to mankind.

...there are huge financial benefits to having the global support the Pool has but their match going supporter culture has certainly changed in recent times. I barely know any season ticket holders although half my pub buddies went 7 or so years ago.

........ders a million yeer waiting list laaa.......

...thing is, if they became available I don't see the locals rushing to return. The truth is folk get used to not going, especially when virtually every game is live on telly. It's fine but there is a risk if all of a sudden those who travel stop valuing the experience.

Redmen TV Presenter stalking Gerrard (behind Blondie at bottom of stairs)

View attachment 15107

Imagine there could be more than one Kopite that looks like that Redmen TV presenter..

That or they all look the same (i.e. from Sweden and Norway)

People leave early because they can't be arsed watching any more of the terrible performance on the pitch. No other reason why, Especially when they don't actually get up and leave until the other team score, they never leave when their team is attacking and scoring.

I'm sorry but thats the top and bottom of it, very few people actually leave in the interest of 'getting home' because the majority simply walk out in a semi protest. And the thing is, EVERY TEAM's fans does it, not just them lot, any fans do.
I'd argue that most teams fans would only leave early if there is at least a 2 goal deficit though.

Watch the video in this link - Steve Nicol:

The interviewer is basically in disbelief.

clueless, utterly clueless. Presenter has rinsed him, he's so right - if they pay for the ticket they have every right to walk out early. I don't have a problem with that, we're just laughing at them because they go over and beyond saying they're the best fans in the world when it couldn't be further from the truth. Their infestation in the media is what gives this appeal - if they didn't have such an influence in the media nobody would mention their fanbase/atmosphere. It's a morgue 80% of the time when i see their games.
