ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC"

Their problem, when he goes, is that a new manager can't bring in his own players and, given Brenden has pissed away millions how much have they got left. If they sell they will loose a fortune on the players he bought. Doesn't look great.

Love how quickly his thread has turned. Usually it lasts a few months before they go to thinking a new signing is a cross between Maradona and Pele to not very good but with mediocre Milner it has taken but 4 pages.....
There was even Blues saying Milner was a good signing. A total mediocrity chunky wool who is starting to slow raaat now. His weekly wages on the RS wage bill for the next four years makes me smile

Meanwhile, over in RAWKland ("The Alternative Universe") apparently everything is ok because:

After Saturday's games:

City +3
Liverpool -2
United -3
Arsenal -4
Chelsea -5
Spurs -7
Saints -7

Chelsea have been very lucky today. Hopefully today's results don't galvinize them going forwards.

They look signifcantly fitter. Think they'll show everyone what they're all about over the next few months.

Table looking good for us though.

And, later...

So important we stay on -2 for the next two home games

Check it all out on the APL thread!

"We had chances to win the game but didn't take them. Our supporters were brilliant and sensed the shackles were lifted from the players after the opening goal."

...perhaps BR didn't hear the boooooooos.
Yeah, the supporters will appreciate that...just like his slum tenants appreciate the rain dripping through their roof and the rats in the kitchen..

What a week for Liverpool fans who must now surely concede that no matter how much money they fling around buying new players they are doomed to eternal mediocrity as a club.

A pumping at the hands of a distinctly average Man U at OT was followed up by their beloved former captain selling the serialisation rights for his literary equivalent of Paul McCartney’s “Frog Chorus” to the most disgusting, xenophobic, Cameron loving, right wing rag in Europe. How those reds who have spent all their lives idolising the local boy done good must have been hurting to find out that a son of Liverpool was prepared to throw away his proud working class ethics and heritage… all for the sake of a few quid from Paul Dacre. He has disgraced not only LFC but an entire city.

And then, just to round it all off, they get held to a draw at home by the mighty Norwich City.

Their season is over before the end of September, they are minging.

Gives their fans plenty time to prepare their “this is going to be our year” posits for 2017 though. They might as well get 2018’s ready while they’re at it.

Hopefully that's the league table they are showing FSG .

It might keep pearl drops in a job.
