So who are the names thrown about on a daily basis on here as wishlist signings? ours had firmino, clyne, kovacic, a ST of any kind lol
 
anyway, this is a liverpool thread so i might as well give my thoughts briefly. IF we acquire the signings currently chased then weve got a squad easily capable of top 4 (Overthrowing LVG's dismantled shipwreck). HOWEVER, do we have the manager capable of overseeing it? remains to be seen but i wanted him out after stoke........

sorry lid... United are far superior to your lot.

I take no joy from that tbh... I dislike any team that's not Everton

They were last season no doubt but the players being chased now fill many gaps we had last year. Only finished 6 points behind that lot without a striker of any use all season. Its not a mountain to climb

It's who Utd sign tbh, Rooney, Mata, Di Maria, Felliani, De Gea and possibly Herrera are all players currently superior to most players liverpool have, add Depay but who else will they get? Benteke? Pogba? Schneiderlin? The top 4 as it is will remain so anyone's hope was arsenal not buying anyone and having an off season but with Cech signed up their one weakness has been sorted, another defender or two and they will be challenging for the title imo

Lack of bottle that was. Martinez and BR are all too similar. Too easy. Although we didnt the season before so for now I'll suck up the " we had a lot of new players, injuries and inexperience" line from him for now
