“We were brought up not with the silver spoon, but with the silver shovel.â€￾

Things makes zero sense. Surely a silver shovel means you've got boat loads of money to spunk on expensive gardening equipment.

i thought it was a reference to burying the truth about heysel. :hay:

I think on the Talksport parody there is a clip of him saying "In order to be first you've got to train like you're second". I can't understand why even these clueless beauts think he's "saying all the right things". I was quietly confident this would go tits up before the season started and now I'm 90% sure it'll end in disaster and hilarity.

I know the RS are still being defiant as hell on the subject of BR but I think it could be a "darkest before the dawn" scenario with the fans' view of the Ulsterman in a week's time when they may well be out of the cup and could easily fail to win at Norwich as they have a couple of bad injuries to contend with. The defiance will gradually turn to scepticism, the penny will drop and then the real fun will start. Rodgers' quotes will be scrutinized by the country, the fans will start to call for his head, they'll try make him the new Hodgson and they'll become the laughing stock of the league. Again. It doesn't even have to be the next two games. Liverpool were comfortably top 6 and 13 points ahead of us midway through last season.

Perhaps a bold prediction, but I've seen enough to satisfy myself that there's nothing else but trouble in their path. I'm usually relatively pessimistic on the subject of these c*nts but there's something profoundly different about them now. Call me naive, but I think the last couple of years have seen this "deal with the devil" expire. They'd have spawned wins in the City, United and probably the Arsenal game in years gone by. Even last year I'd have expected them to win. Not this year though.

The thing is they think they can struggle along to the Transfer window and the buy some world class striker and everything will be rosy........WHO IS GONNA WANT TO GO TO THE MOST HATED CLUB IN BRITAIN ??? everybody is waking up to them and realising what spitefull , spineless bellends they are.

Are you actually sure it's a parody and not actually him?

He is David Brent.

I'm just not bumping into any of them round here at the moment which is unfortunate, all the utd fans think it's hilarious and are made up with us being where we are at the same time, they'd rather fight things out with us than see city or the r/s have a chance of any success.

The question is who wants to join a club in the relegation zone......

The one's with their noses put out of joint after their hero Dalglish was unceremoniously dumped out on his arse are quietly waiting in the shadows with the knives out. Rodgers will have to turn this around sooner rather than later and he knows it, despite all the 'it's a work in progress' bollocks. If they're bumping round mid-table by Christmas with zero chance of bridging a gap to a CL place I dont think he'll see his first season out.

Most of them find $$$$$ very tempting and there still aren't too many clubs your knock them back for (if you weren't one of us). the interesting thing will be how much he gets especially if borini (to a lesser extent Allen) continue to not exactly set the works on fire , how much will the yanks trust him with ?

Jesus. Harold. Christ

It's actually frightening isn't it? The initial shock has worn off but, crikey, when you stop to think about it... just wow!

I know it's from a charity or something but at least put it in your bedroom or auction it off to help said charity or something. Don't give it pride of place in your main room you total weirdo.

Great description & absolutely spot on, they'll be chanting for the return of the fat lad before bonfire night

Your right mate they did , sigursson who was prepared to go to Swansea turned them down obviously did so because of the wages so lets hope they continue keeping to their 'structure' because hat has and will hurt them.
