ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC"

i didn't think he'd be sacked after this season and tbh rightly so after what he did with them last season. their owners don't know jack about football it must be said, his excuses were easy ... i've bought a lot of players last summer, need time to gel, a lot are young, looking towards the future etc.

it's the kind of excuses you'll believe when you don't really have a good grasp of the subject in question.

i really don't think he'll last the whole of next season though. they have to do some great business to turn this squad around.

how do you feel about the good news Brendo ... ???

Er, what does Rodgers set his team to do actually? Can't make rhyme or reason of it myself. They're nothing like his Swansea side.

Well he likes to get them to press high and Harry the opposition defenders into mistakes which isn't Benteke's game. He also likes them to work the ball into the box through quick triangular passing movements instead of crossing from the wings, which he thrives on.

Unless he's about to abound these ploys he's pissing up the wrong lampost again.

we said the same about lambert last summer and that was an unexpected failure of a signing. benteke is utter class, he really should be getting a better offer.

Just looking at the Echo comments to the two 'Rodgers stays' stories: The kopites absolutely detest that gnashers was spared.

He's marking time there. It really is just a question of when not if.

No mate they are 100% behind their manager, providing it's Rafael or Kenny........
