Looks like it is for now from press reports. Hopefully FSG don't have a surprise up the their sleeves at this review next month and the bluff merchant defo gets another full season with them...damage expansion as opposed to limitation.

FSG have got Rodgers exactly where they want him. A wounded Rodgers is good for them: it provides them with a bullet proof shield they can get behind while spending little or no cash this summer. The message will be loud and clear: "that rubbish you wasted our money on last summer - sell that lot and there's your fighting fund". Meanwhile, they can get on with paying down more of the stadium cost and take more steps closer to a sale and then exit.

Rodgers is a complete duffer who'll struggle to mount any CL spot challenge with the likes of Gerrard and Sterling out the way and replacing them with the players he's now linked with - Danny Ings FFS (and there's no way Benteke will throw in with that shambles).

Rodgers' name will be top of the bookies sack race list until he eventually does go.

Problem for FSG is that the deluded, tit, kopite beaut fans won't except little or no cash being spent (they already think they haven't spent that much) especially if they get a fair wad of cash for Sterling. No cash being spent could work in Rodgers favour because it would mean the kopites turning their bile towards FSG.
