Stevie Mee Laa: Highly experienced and revered captain prone to making serious errors from time to time. Goes down very easily. Given a great send-off. Couldn't save a sinking ship.

LFC failed to activate proper defences and weren't looking out for trouble ahead in apparently calm waters. Might take 70 odd years to find themselves again. Too many passengers (several Europeans on board). Expensively built with Northern Irish input. Heavily reliant on Southampton people.
