TBH there must have been loads of people who had him down to score today

Good luck to those who won a few shillin, like.....Wonder if the stoke players had a few bob on?

But to 'score' like that though? A jockey'd be up before the stewards/BHB if he gave up in a horse race like that defender did on captain self-defence.

so basically they lost 6-0. if that's how bad they are when they put raheem on the bench then they better hope to god they don't sell him in the summer. will get relegated.

;) i just knew it would happen, it would either be a dodgy as sin penalty or something like this. it's liverpool ffs

Any respectable replacement will demand a big transfer budget to rebuild. Considering that they blew the lot last summer, Gerrard's gone for nothing, they won't recoup much from Balotelli. Sterling will fetch a price but is in his last year of his contract. Without CL funds, the wage bill won't be expanding.

I suspect they'll keep Rodgers, the alternative might just be too expensive.

.......unless he has a serious injury Borini appears to have been totally frozen out for doing exactly the opposite to what Sterling is doing. Borini wants to stay.

weird isn't it. rodgers has signed him twice and worked with him with 3 different clubs. after 1 season decided he's not good enough and vindicated him for wanting to stay and fight for his place. all in a season where liverpool strikers have scored less than everton centre backs.

i think they will because they don't know a lot about football - but he'll get sacked at some point during next season. he can rattle on about how he nearly won the league and how this was always a rebuilding season because of all the players in the summer and they may believe him/give him the benefit of the doubt.
