......I wonder if the truth will out one day regarding Gerrard staying with the Reds. Clearly a lot of conjecture and rumour that conflict his 'love of the club' Speach after yesterday's game. The alternate is that he was a prisoner at Anfield when he really wanted to leave and subsequently advised other stars to go.

The second he retires and goes into coaching/management, i dont care who is in charge of LFC they will be sacked to make room for Stevie Me !

can't wait tbh. he's never had a good footballing brain imo. he was at his peak because of his energy and because he's good at set-pieces. we've all seen how abysmal he has been since moving further back and being asked to play an actual football role. what good are his set-pieces going to do when managing?

The excuse for their purchases last summer seems to be that they were filling out the squad and the Yanks should put their hands in the pockets this time around to sign some first teamers. What other club in the league pays £20 million twice, £25 million and £16 million on squad players?

Also, Rafael bought about 75 players and King Kenny spent over £100 million yet no-one has questioned why they needed their squad filling out in the first place. It can't always be dem other Yanks fault surely Aldo.
