Fair enough mate. If you think with the way Arsenal and United are playing they are going to make up that point difference (given they have 5 away games to play) then that's up to you. I don't think they've got a cat in hells the chance. The momentum is all lost. It's over for them. I won't be vaulting you at all. 5 points with 8 games to play for is certainly do-able. Yesterday was their first defeat in the league since December. Still a long way to go yet. If Everton were in their position in the league as it currently is, would you be so quick to write off our chances ? Absolutely not.

Maybe yesterday's result will be the one they look back on after the 38 games have been played and think ' Yep the mancs at home cost us '. It could be the one but right now there is still a lot to play for and anything can happen. Utd have got City and Chelsea back to back and have still got to play Arsenal and come to Goodison. You might laugh at that last fixture i've mentioned there but thats still no easy game for Utd. Lots to play for and its far from blown.

Skrtel being out for 3 games will make their push for top four a bit more interesting, he was by far their best defender. He'll miss Arsenal, Newcastle in the league and their FA cup replay vs Rovers.
