There's a bit of an obsession with Sterling in here I've noticed. I remember we had opposition supporters all laughing at a certain Ronaldo when we first signed him, saying he was "s**t" etc.

Be careful when writing off young players dears - I am not saying that Sterling WILL become a great but from what I've seen, he's a very decent footballer with poor end product.

I don't see what the fuss is about really. He is a young player with blistering pace and little end product. He is so far behind Barkley it's laughable. The idea you build your team around Stirling, a player with poor vision, can't pass etc is silly.

The criticism of Ronaldo was because he was a bit of a tit. He dived too much etc. The criticism of Stirling is because he is overhyped.

I post at several different football fans' forums, and have done for years. It passes the time when I am bored at work.

And I really this place - there's some lovely lads here who can give it out as well as take it. But dear old Delboy seems to be able to hurl abuse but doesn't like it when someone throws it back into his garden.

You're going to say that though, aren't you! Football fans are funny creatures - so tribalistic. Personally, I like to look at things with an open mind, without my United specs on.

I actually agree that Barkley is a better player but miles ahead in development? I am not so sure.
