Laughed when i read about Sturridge. fingers crossed he is missing until at least christmas now where Liverpool rush him back and he breaks down again in playing so many games in that time.

I wonder if what Ferguson said in his autobiography carrys some weight now? Where he said they didnt sign henderson because the way his legs move and he runs would cause him problems later in his career. I wonder if Sturridge is similar and Chelsea didnt bother with him because they knew he was suseptive to injuries more than the average player?

Of course he hasn't - he blamed the last injury on Hodgson not using Brendan's superior training ground tactics, and then the player pulls up with what looks like an even worse injury on his watch.

I wonder if that's the same one who went to bed clutching his Suarez poster telling him 'everything will be ok'.

He may well of also been crying and shaking and/or punching and screaming.. or any combination thereof.

The are still in the CL and 1/4 final of the League Cup. I'm disappointed that we're only ahead of them on goal difference in the PL to be honest.

Long month for them lot now though if Sturridge isnt back. I expect MArio to score the odd one but against genuinely hardworking teams like in the champions league i can see him struggle and ultimatly give up.

Would be great if they didnt win another game until 2015.

In their eyes it has....given that the premature euphoria then disappointment of last season gave them unrealistic (but to them realistic of course) expectations of this season. Its not an us v them issue.
