Laughed when i read about Sturridge. fingers crossed he is missing until at least christmas now where Liverpool rush him back and he breaks down again in playing so many games in that time.

I wonder if what Ferguson said in his autobiography carrys some weight now? Where he said they didnt sign henderson because the way his legs move and he runs would cause him problems later in his career. I wonder if Sturridge is similar and Chelsea didnt bother with him because they knew he was suseptive to injuries more than the average player?

two rs talking about Sturridge

It is. I went to bed early last night like a big baby. Didn't sleep that well either. I hate how football has this sort of hold on you.

The only thing we can do mate is just stick together and walk through this storm.

From??????? Guess where

I wonder if that's the same one who went to bed clutching his Suarez poster telling him 'everything will be ok'.

He may well of also been crying and shaking and/or punching and screaming.. or any combination thereof.

Edit: That may even be phase 4 or 5; 'clutching and telling'.

"The three forwards the Liverpool manager has turned to — Mario Balotelli, Rickie Lambert and Fabio Borini — have yet to score a goal between them in 888 minutes of Premier League action..............
Sturridge believes the cause of his injury problems is hereditary
and has admitted that his speed makes him vulnerable to breaking down......
Sturridge’s latest setback being of particular concern since it comes just a week before Liverpool face Ludogorets in Sofia, a game they must win to retain their chances of qualifying for the knockout stage of the Champions League......."

These three factors should fan the cult's hysteria and hint to even the thickest of them that the "luck", or rather the lack of which they bemoan , has played merely a walk-on part in this debacle of a season.

I don't think quite has been a debacle...yet.
The are still in the CL and 1/4 final of the League Cup. I'm disappointed that we're only ahead of them on goal difference in the PL to be honest.

In their eyes it has....given that the premature euphoria then disappointment of last season gave them unrealistic (but to them realistic of course) expectations of this season. Its not an us v them issue.
