Just read about that mong, he even had a mixed race grandson. Although I remember a blue being banned for 3 years for calling saha a lazy french [Poor language removed] so to give gannon 4 years doesn't quite add up

Good to see the RS going about things in the right way, keeping to the moral high ground... after all its not as if they had signed a written agreement to not go and nick Swanseas best players after they got Rodgers.

Oh.

Liverpool's Joe Allen bid rejected by Swansea

http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/18984391

Looks like the have had a bid of around 10m knocked back and may come back with a bid of 15m, Is he that good?

It doesn't really matter. So far Roy Rogers has gone for a player who played for Swansea and who they were going to sign full time, but who then chose to go to Spurs, a player who played for Swansea but went back to Europe, and a player who still plays for Swansea. Liverpool, the new Swansea.........

don't you dare diss swansea like that. i think i can add another one to this list - scott sinclair. has 1 year left on his contract and is stalling about signing a new one i believe. especially if they get allen, rodgers is going to think, well that agreement doesnt work, may as well keep going. think he was rodgers' 1st signing at swansea and they have been linked with walcott, a similar player

£15m for a player with one season of Premier League experience, nice to see LFC's new philosophy is pretty much the same as the old project.

All hail the Swansea newco!

Oh.

Not in the job 5 minutes & he's like King Kunny & Benitez rolled into one gobsh1te. Agreements my ass. Never mind that he overlooks the confidentiality in Allen's contract but has taken advantage of his inside knowledge.

Oh.
the swansea board can waive the agreement if it is beneficial to swansea. if LFC bid 15m for allen then they are happy to sell

RS fans spewing bitter bile about Michael Owen on facebook.

I know some of their trash supporters read here. Food for thought.

I hope every player who signs for you is fully aware of the disgusting venom heading their way if they decide to leave.

Of course, this only applies to GOOD players. All other (not so good) players are all 'sound lads' who you all 'wish well'.

Loved that sickening tableau you RS did of Gerrard - surrounded by roaring flames. I suppose they were to symbolise the burning shirts when he nearly left you. LOL!

Suarez getting a hot reception from the Old Trafford crowd today.

Not helping himself by doing a few of these already -

they werent really giving off that vibe in their statement:

"Swansea City can confirm that Liverpool have expressed an interest in Joe Allen, despite a written agreement with Liverpool not to approach any players within the 12-month period of former manager Brendan Rodgers leaving for Anfield.

"There has also been interest from other clubs regarding his possible availability and the club is due to speak to Joe, as originally planned, about the situation when he returns from GB duty.

"The club is not prepared to release any details on whether any formal bids have been made at this stage or details of Joe's contract, which are private and confidential.

"The club is extremely disappointed that speculation regarding certain aspects of his contract have been released to the media by parties outside the club.

"Fortunately the club is in a financial position where it does not need to sell any of its players and will continue to work in the best interests of its supporters, who are our priority, and the club to provide new manager Michael Laudrup with the best opportunity to be successful in the forthcoming Premier League campaign."
