Presumably that is a downward curve?

Boom-bust cycle I think.

This might need a RAWK Roundtable thread to sort out.

I think Sterling is a very good player. But the unbelievable tornado of nonsense that gets whipped up as soon as a young English player shows some promise is a ridiculous context when evaluating how good a player actually is.
Sterlings good, better than Barkley but not a patch on Danny Rose...although he's not half as good as *name next new young English lad who has the world put on his shoulders*

Rodgers said: “As manager of this club you can’t afford to be sentimental but, both on an off the field, as a leader and as a captain, I want to ensure that Steven is very much part of this second curve we’re on in terms of group development.”

He's really trying to launch this phrase now.
Second swerve would be a better phrase for that lot.

'You can't take Can off and the 'brains' are you mad', boo boo boo.

"....I think it's more abar a Kondratiev wave than a curve, lad. It's upward and then downturn cycles incorporated in a long wave, but in our case wid an overall arc of growth and stuff like dat and other stuff like dat...What d'you udder lids think abar dat??"

Meh bringing up they're past misdemeanors just brings us down to their level as it looks like we are clutching at straws. We just have to accept, no matter how hard it is, that their fans will never admit anything and Libpulfuballklub will be idolised around the world even though it has one of if not THE darkest history in English football. I'm just gonna try everyday to let it go. There's nothing talking about them can do to change things. Their fans will always look down their noses at everyone else. Their southern fans will always try to stare me out for wearing an Everton shirt even though they have no connection with the city and absolutly no right to. I accept it and we all just have to accept it. Just console yourselves with the fact that most of them are a completely different breed to us. We have humour, we have blind undying love for Everton and we recognise and almost embrace our gashness. We don't defend the indefencible. We treat our own players ( on the whole ) with respect. We don't have a manager who just CANNOT accept anything from the team playing gash, to a correct or incorrect descision. We don't idolise a racist, and a couple of holier than thou I would never dive thugs. Our club actively encourages our players NOT to crowd the referee. Not once have I seen a blue shirt ask for a member of the oppositon to be booked. On the whole our players don't dive, or at least not without any contact whatsoever. If they did our fans scream at them to get the **** back on their feet... I could go on and on.

We are us, they are them. That's all we need to know.

Just thought i would bring this up from the first few pages, sometimes its easier to just let them go on and on and on searching for their balls. Then i think naahhh lets keep winding them up.....

Rodgers is just experiencing his kotov syndrome Dave.
Kotov syndrome is cutting across the second curve. Only when Brendan traces his steps back to the original problem and simplifies matters will the second curve be able to fully roll out and take shape. It's just basic game theory.

How long do you reckon before 'kopite' is recognised as a separate language.

Kopite has a special place in urban dictionary.

"A person to whom the word "Loyalty" has no sense or meaning. Usually eminating from places where there already exists a perfectly supportable footballl club, they choose to "Gloryhunt" others teams instead, to improve their status. These people whilst having the greek name Kopitus Redshitus, rarely if ever go the match, and prefer to wear their scarves in Bars at home or abroad on holiday. They also usually smell".

They are led by the 'bees knees' Aldo who has his own deluded reasoning for everything Kopite.

Mario Balotelli can be a Liverpool icon, says John Aldridge
John Aldridge is backing striker Mario Balotelli to develop into an "iconic" player at Liverpool.
“I genuinely think this signing could be an inspired one,” Aldridge told the Liverpool Echo.

“As a footballer, there are very few question marks over him. He’s big, strong, quick, scores goals and can create mayhem with defenders. Ask any centre-half if they would like to face Mario when he is at his best, and I guarantee you they’d say no.”

He continued: “The manager will have a plan. It could be Balotelli going through the middle with Daniel [Sturridge] playing off him or out wide, as he did to great effect last season.

“He could be phenomenal and he’s the type of player who will be endearing to the fans. He could be iconic.”

Which actually means.

Liverpool legend John Aldridge has told talkSPORT he is “baffled” that manager Brendan Rodgers continues to favour striker Mario Balotelli to lead the line for the misfiring Reds.

I don't know if this has been posted - but they are going OTT again.

Why can't they simply have a player who is 'decent'?

It's like the meeja are conditioning them to being in a constant state of disappointment. It's almost like they are deliberately setting them up.

Move the picture, that they use on that article, on another 5 seconds and it will show Jags once again with the ball and Origi in his back pocket.
