It's complicated. You really have to understand the history of philosophy to grasp what's going on here. The second curve is actually the circle within the circle, the layer beneath external perception. We're all chained to the wall, looking into the fire, while Brendan's outside the cave. Outside the cave, man.
sent him 'round the bendWhat happened with the first curve?
Gnashers' latest snake oil salesman pitch:
"We're on our second curve of development".
Unreal.
Hopefully they go backwards to the 50's.You have to go backwards, to go forward again lads.
Brendan's got a plan.
Which is ironic considering how Gerrard could not handle the original passing style of Rodgers' first few months at the club, and made Rodgers resort back to the Captain Fantastic Hoofball to Suarez play style.http://www.thetimes.co.uk/tto/sport/football/premierleague/article4255593.ece
Steven Gerrard’s new deal will not hinge on sentiment
......It is certainly not sentimental,” he (Rodgers) said. “As the manager of this club you can’t afford to do that. I came here two and a half years ago when Steven was 32, had struggled with injury, hadn’t played consistently over a number of years, and I came in, sold him the philosophy of how we wanted to work and his importance to it. In that period, he has been absolutely outstanding.
.
If it's a circle inside a circle does this mean it's the start of a spiral?

Hahaha.....I bet Gerrard will be surprised to find out he owes it all to his newest manager. The same manager hes had to poke and prod shamelessly via the media to raise the issue of his contract. They do share a common bond however...in disguising an appreciation of someone else as an even bigger appreciation of themselves. Rodgers achieves this within three sentences in this piece.
He would have bought KoneWas wondering the other day how differently it would be for them now if Martine would have taken the job
Martinez without question would have brought in McCarthy, But would he have had the balls to drop Gerrard?
