They're all good teams in the knock out stages though. Makes no difference finishing 1st or 2nd now

They smashed Real 4-0 at analfield in the return leg...

before that they went to the nou camp and won 2-1. Defending champs Barca had Ronaldinho, Messi, Saviola, Deco and Xavi playing. The shoite with Bellamy, Pennant and Finnan in their lineup.

They will always find and pull something our of their arse in the really big games; no matter what players are playing.

Those teams that got results against Real and Barcelona in the past werent quite so porous as their current effort at at defence. Mascherrano & Alonso arent available to cover them tonight fortunately.

Also I can't think of a time when I've ever seen them absolutely battered. I'm talking 5-0, 6-0's. Even United got dismantled 6-1 at home by City the other year, Arsenal have recently taken a 6 goal pasting at Chelsea. I could never imagine that sort of thing happening to Liverpool. They always seem to be "in" the game, even if they eventually end up losing. I just want them to get a true battering some time. When we beat them 3-0, that was an embarrassing defeat on the face of it, but if you look at the game as a whole, they actually had a bagful of chances at 2-0 and should have got back into it
