Real Madrid and Basle to win tonight please...
Don't!!!!They'll win 2 1. Gerrard winner 5 minutes from time and he'll run with his head back and eyes closed, arms stretched out before sliding on his knees at the kop end in celebration. Sky Sports will then use the clip for next 5 years as advertisement and everyone will talk about another special yuropeen nyt in frnt ov da kop forever more.
You know this.
They're all good teams in the knock out stages though. Makes no difference finishing 1st or 2nd nowI have no problem with them taking points off Real. Coming second means them playing a good team and being out of Europe rather than coming 3rd and ending up in the Europa. No chance they're coming 4th
Oh I just said 2nd coz they have no real chance of coming first. Didn't mean they'd get a weaker team that way. They're all good teams in the knock out stages though. Makes no difference finishing 1st or 2nd now
I made a post the other day about stuff like this.Remember when they went to the Bernabeu when Real were league champions and won 1-0 with Yossi Benayoun scoring?

They smashed Real 4-0 at analfield in the return leg...
before that they went to the nou camp and won 2-1. Defending champs Barca had Ronaldinho, Messi, Saviola, Deco and Xavi playing. The shoite with Bellamy, Pennant and Finnan in their lineup.
They will always find and pull something our of their arse in the really big games; no matter what players are playing.

Also I can't think of a time when I've ever seen them absolutely battered. I'm talking 5-0, 6-0's. Even United got dismantled 6-1 at home by City the other year, Arsenal have recently taken a 6 goal pasting at Chelsea. I could never imagine that sort of thing happening to Liverpool. They always seem to be "in" the game, even if they eventually end up losing. I just want them to get a true battering some time. When we beat them 3-0, that was an embarrassing defeat on the face of it, but if you look at the game as a whole, they actually had a bagful of chances at 2-0 and should have got back into it
Lad was bangin on to me about how there playing sterling up front with balotelliSterident will set them up in some unusual formation tonight, as his ego will figure that this is great opportunity for massive self promotion.
So if OG, Penalty or red card put in another superb performance for the cult of Satan, then he can sit and bask in the glory that his tactical genius has created......
