What did Andy Carroll do yesterday that's convinced the Kopites he's da best in da wurld? I watched the whole game and whilst he was their best player once he came on i can't help but feel it's just the nutters clutching at straws to find something positive. Leave them to it as it's perfect. They'll build him up in the summer to be something he's not and therefore allow the club to swerve spending money on a striker that actually scores goals. This holds them back somewhat.

I hope we do stick with him because he's still got the potential to be brilliant, but we need at least a proven backup striker to be able to bring on when things aren't working. A defensive midfielder and a winger is more important at the moment.

And a goalkeeper, a couple of attacking midfielders, a left back, a right back, two wingers, a couple of centre backs, a decent striker and a new manager................
