Why? I've seen many people use this leg break comparison.

Biting someone is intended to harm. A leg break is often by accident, and if it is clearly on purpose, then the perpetrator should be punished severely, just like Suarez should.

Im just saying he has a point, I would rather be bitten than have my leg broke.

Thats all.

WHAT WOULD BRENDA SAY?
Wasn't too long ago that B-Rod was saying something along the lines of him ' making me a better man and a better manager '. This was after his 2 previous biting incidents, the racism comments, the stamping, the world cup cheating, the diving, trying to force a transfer and then holding his club to ransom..............

Your comment on page 1886 tends to contradict this.

I see them both as really bad, that's enough for me. I'm not arguing about which is worse.....that's a bit kopite-ish.

BTW, can you name one player who has broken the leg of 3 different players? Intentional or not will suffice.

Does this mean that B-Rod is going to be an even better manager after this?

Whatever ban he gets won't be Worldwide it'll just be International
I dunno, seeing a lot on the BBC from people talking about it extending to club level.

This world cup has been really successful and positive, don't think FIFA like that it's become about a player biting someone. There was a whole segment on NPR (national public radio...not really sports here) this morning about the bite. It's terrible press for FIFA. I hope (and can see) they drop the hammer.

It will be mate. There's no precedent for a Worldwide ban by FIFA

He'll get 6-10 games imo

There is the precedent for FIFA turning a domestic ban against some player in Portugal into a worldwide one, so there might be some chance the process could work in the other direction. I mean, Hannibal plys his trade in the Premier League and I can't imagine the league would want to resulting shitstorm of criticism if it and/or the English FA turns a blind eye.
