I think a lot of Evertonians hatred of Rooney is softening.
Infact, we are actually running out of people we actually hate with a passion I feel, Lescott didnt get as hard a time as he used to.
I think we just really hate Suarez these days, I mean with passion, but its something we share with the rest of the League at the moment.

the thing is, and as level headed as I try to be, suarez is an absolute pathetic excuse for a man,,, it may be wrong on here to say it but I actually felt as if kkk was **** on by him today,,,,ok , kkk didnt cover himself with glory by blindly defending suarez but suarez proved once more that he has absolute disregard for kkk, lfc or their deluded fans,,,, he's been back for 2 games, in the first one he was on the pitch for 5 mins and decided to hoof parker and got booked, today his petulance kicked in before the game even started, also a booking for hoofing the ball at the dugout would not have been out of order.......suarez s just a pure evil cnut. He deserves to be hated, by everybody,,,,and their dog ,,and their neighbour , and their neighbours dog too..
Any normal Manager I would agree, but the fact that KKK not only supports, but defends his conduct at EVERY turn, suggests he has his full backing.

Just dealing with the events of the past 5 months (the rest of his history, biting, handballs etc. also well documented to give a fairly clear cut understanding of the type of person we're dealing with - namely your typical footballer with a lot more baggage and even less up top than, say, Wayne!)
Anfield Man U game - Evra loses it badly after tackle - Suarez behaves like most footballers do, turning the screw with a bit more wind-up -EXCEPT he adds a little bit too much with the N word.
If at this point he'd been clearer with his boss etc. there was an opportunity to back out (apologise etc.) - Problem - it was Man U, so starts the route of denial, contradiction, poor statements in (other) press. This is compounded by further poor judgement by LFC (failing to accept legal advice, hiring poor representatives (the wrong kind of legal expertise), taking on the might of a QC led commission with (ignorance) - a mixed story, a poor excuse, a further series of denials.
Commission find against LS - 8 match ban - before the findings are published more stupidity (T-shirts, poor OS statements) & so on. The whole thing is farcical. Yes, Evra was complicit but, whatever he said was normal in the course of any football match The whole thing has dragged on right up to today with little sign of LFC backing down, apologising, regretting the whole scene etc.
So, just to put some understanding into this I thought I'd relate a slightly different situation I found myself in about 8 years ago. I faced something akin to an FA Disciplinary Hearing for my behaviour in another sporting field. I had made statements (some justified, some not) about the behaviour of rivals & I was facing a potential ban. So, armed with a little bit of intelligence, two character witnesses & a well prepared case, I defended my corner with no little skill. Firstly I admitted what I had done, tried to mitigate it & put some form of defence up as well as apologising & promising to mend my ways. I won my case & thereafter gave no further cause for concern. Put simply sometimes it's far better to accept you're sometimes wrong & move on - try to benefit from it rather than try to escape.

I wish Evra hadn't celebrated in front of suarez, nice at the time, but lost a little of the Moral high ground (only a little).
Would have been better if he'd tried to shake hands at the end. Suarez walked off in a fairly dignifed way, if he'd have shook hands at the end, all of his problems would have been lessened today....If Evra had tried at the end and suarez had again refused then the S*** storm today would have been EPIC...
