If you REALLY must bet on the unthinkable - don't go on Liverpool to win (14s 16s) - go for West Ham/Liverpool double which is 19.5/1- plus the added bonus that you didn't literally put a bet on them to win the league.

If however you are sensible - don't go City to win at 1/50 - get down to Ladbrokes - you can get 1/25 on City/Draw in their game which is better odds obviously.

Thats the bet I have done

just read mourinho's comments, ha.

can't say i agree with a lot of it, i mean dzeko definitely dives and suarez has the most assists in the league? yaya should get it if city win the league, but i'm sure him saying gerrard was just a dig to bring up how many penalties they've had.

...rumours growing about R Madrid and suarez. If true, I wouldn't be surprised if he reverts to type during the World Cup and says he wants the move to happen.

The BBC live ticker this is so fecking biased it's unreal. It's as if they want Liverpool to snatch it so much they have to mention them in every single section

Martin Tyler then:

"I feel the nation are behind Liverpool today"

What a knob. Lost so much respect for the man the last month. Not so much because of favouritism, everyone's entitled to that, it's the way he tries to dress it up as the neutral perspective.

I work in the city centre, in our place there's about 2 blues, a Leeds fan, a Norwich fan, a Leicester fan, 3 Man U fans and a Rangers fan, the rest are Liverpool fans. Aside from the Rangers fan, who calls himself an adopted Liverpool fan anyway, everyone else wants City to win the title, I mean passionately as well. From guys I've spoken to in Uni, 2 Boro fans and a Villa fan, they want City, can't stand the idea of Liverpool doing it. I appreciate this is a small sample, but it's also pretty resounding to me. So I wanna know where this concept of the nation being behind Liverpool comes from.

Mentioned before but it is people who do not like football who want them to win. The ones who moan when a football match replaces a soap opera.

NO ONE WITH ANY PASSION FOR THE GAME WANTS THESE SELF GRATIFYING, SELF PRAISING, UNHUMBLE BELLS WINNING IT.

As soon as he leaves the country he will start spouting off

City's big day

"If Manchester City fail to win the Premier League title today it will be the biggest choke in football history. If they throw it away we will be talking about if for years to come. But I don't expect them to."

lol, what a card. there have been bigger chokes in sport than this. utter nonsence.
