ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC"

Zat! They're in second and are destroying teams for fun. FFS. I've even been trying to goad them but I won't go that far.

Suarez is the best player the league as it stands for me.

One trick pony side...in all honesty Alan Pardew is a cosmopolitan mastermind compared to their manager -- he's got a better squad as well. Their midfield and defence are lower level premier league quality and the geordies and spurs will soon catch them.

For us, I don't see any players we could do a 'reverse' Abel Xavier on...maybe I'd take their keeper but not suarez...drags the image into the gutter...

We look like were playing for fun...theyre playing to get suarez a move.

Still cant beat any top sides either can they?

They've a very good team though. No denying that.

Obviously for the sake of this thread with kopites lurking on it they're dead sh*t and all that.

Poor team heavily reliant on 2 players...a keeper and a forward. May as well just long ball their way to 7th.

Hahaha Zat you'll be all over RAWK soon lad with that comment. I'm just glad that City, Chelsea and Arsenal are better than them because they're just like the Aussies terrible losers but even worse winners.

City /chelsea / arsenal /everton / newcastle / spurs are all better....possibly UTD after january as well.

Just imagine that AVB has been sacked yesterday, wonder if Brendan will go at the end of the season when Suarez jumps ship...I think if he goes we will see anothet Bale situation where liverpool nosedive.

Bit concerned they may come in for Naismith to add more strength in depth to their attacking lineup....

You're actually a madman. You can't seriously believe the things you're saying? Their performance vs Spurs was fantastic, even if spurs were awful. They played without 2 of their most influential players (though it is becoming clear that they might be better without Gerrard- and that is something I don't want them realizing- let's hope sentimentality gets the better of them).
Suarez is EASILY the best player in the league.
They are still prone to the odd stupid collapse vs a Cardiff or Sunderland, but on current form they are looking very comfortable (though in fairness so are we) - its quite the season this.

We've known this for a long time. As long as Suarez is there and holds his form, they are a threat.

He isn't diving now - he still acts as though he's been shot when he's tackled - but that won't matter. He might get a yellow for simulation, but it's not likely as he only gets those playing for Uruguay, up to now.

He's always likely to put in horrible tackles but, so far, he's getting away with them in our league.

We know that Liverpool absolutely depends on him, but he plays for them and we have to beat them with football, not with the expectation that referees will get it right and stop him cheating, when he does. Which, to be honest, he isn't doing as often as he did.

The rest of their team are raising their game to keep up with Suarez. It's not just his ability, either: his will and determination are outstanding. Say what you want about his character, but there's no denying he's inspirational on the pitch.

If opponents figure out a way to shut him out for 90 minutes LFC are very beatable.

One/two man team or not, they still count. Same as our boss loan signings from Chelsea and City.
Hate admitting it but they are in a win/win situation at the end of this season. If they get CL, they'll keep Ratface and be able to spunk more money on better players, or they will get £50m+ from Real for the horrible c*** and spunk more money on better players. Just got to hope Brenda f**** up buying the next Aspas etc.

Still, f*** em. We're boss, and can beat anyone and will finish above them.

James Brown - overcome with emotion collapses to the floor and is helped off stage by his aides. Surely he is done. NO! He has made a miracle recovery and hits the microphone as good as ever. Then...

Reminds me of Suarez being led off the pitch with life-threatening injuries only to reappear and run about like a b - a - fly.
