This season they have signed

Alberto
Aspas
Mignoley
Ilori
Sakho

For a total of 45m, Oh there so skint

You'd of thought spending that sort of money every year, it would sink in that actually they are one of the top spenders in English football.

Third since the start of the prem, they'll be particularly fuming about spending more than United :)

Big neg spend this year now has us as the bottom spenders byt he way.

Notice that the R/S Talisman Stevie me is starting to look a very tired player for them, going to be interesting to see how they manage over the season, anyone else noticed how much off the pace he is.

Well they won't get any transfer fee for him as he'll retire so that will mean another huge outlay in a season or two. Of course they could just use Henderson or one of their youth players in there (do they even have any of their own?) but they won't. They'll splurge out 20 million on a player who's supposedly world class before he's touched a ball but as he starts playing they'll then begin to realise that actually its another massive transfer cock up at which point they'll all complain about a lack of investment before leading on hypocritically into their complaints about how modern football is ruining the game.

Talking of fat managers, this post made me laugh in the Rafael thread. Worringly, although not surprisingly, it is off a mod -

I'm sorry I'm not having this. **** the 'squad he was left' or the 'lack of spending' or anything else.

He 'failed' at Inter because he was, at the time, a physical and emotional wreck after he left us. And we know the reasons why, and frankly should be eternally grateful to him for those exact reasons. If you don't know what I'm talking about, well you should.

Taking that job at that time was a bad decision. And on top of his clear exhaustion, to be promised funds to rebuild but given none, none! That despite selling Balotelli? **** Inter.

He took over a treble winning side

"physical and emotional wreck"

Hhahahahahahahahahaha, feck me, that is wonderful.

Suarez still hasn't apologised to the 'best fans' in the world and has again made a fool of Rodgers. Didn't he claim that Suarez would not play for LFC again until he apologised to him, the club and the fans.

What is Suarez doing writing for the Sun? Surely, yet another way to damage 'brand' LFC.
