dont know about that tbh. 1st bid 26mil for fabregas.... 2nd bid 30mil. either they have th ****test negotiatior in the world, or theres been a bit of a huff puff bout how much moyes can spend. why the hell did they think 4mil would change barcas' mind

being an evertonian mate that sounds like all the money in the world!

they werent going to get fabregas by bidding 4mil more than th bid that got rejected. if they had serious money to spend and moyes really wanted him they would of at least tempted barca by biddin 35mil+, know many mancs bit bemused by that 2nd bid

did you watch the game mate. sure stoke tried to pass it around abit more but they had 5 in midfield 3 of those aggressive CMs and then jonathan walters on one of the wings, big target man up front. dont buy this crap HUGHES of all people will revolutionise there playin style, only time they looked dangerous was from set pieces or off a knock down near the box. they were really poor though, any of the top 6 from last season would (and probably will) twozzle them

Yeah, I did. Stoke never got near the ball. Compared to how they played at the Britannia under Pulis, there was no intensity from them, front to back. Nzonzi put it about but the rest, even Walters who's game is all about that, didn't.

Hughes was trying to make more into a possession side than a direct and forceful side and its poor. The Pulis Stoke gets something from that game as they couldn't handle anything in the box.

They're very much a Rodgers side now. You get into them like any team did at Swansea, you'll turn them over

....what is pm? Happy to expand on what I was told yesterday but it could be tittle tattle.

I was also told by somebody very close to the club that offering Gerrard a new contract was daft. He's physically shot and wont commit to tackles like he used to. Apparently Ian Ayre and BR are John Henry's yes men and have caused a lot of individual discontent by going back on their words.
Well Reina and Downing plus Suarez have come out in interviews with the same theme, two have gone and one cant leave.

All this f*cking hype about them and how they look strong this season. They beat one of the definite relegation candidates with the worst manager in the league 1-0 at home and would have drawn 1-1 if Jon Walters didn't have a bathroom mop for a right leg.

They'll lose at Villa next week.

Was thinking that, the irony was beautiful.

RAWK are currently having a go at Chelsea fans for their banners. Admittedly they were awful and cringeworthy but feck me...don't they get irony?

Tbf, I always liked Kuyt. He was a trier. OK he was ugly, but I'd have had him in our side.............

I didn't mind him either - he just did his best for the club.

Plus he nearly murdered Phil Neville with that flying lunge so that's another tick in the good box for me.

I'd pay a fair amount of money to be able to do that tbh.
