(18) Liverpool. 18th happens to average teams that are consistently reminded/told/advertised that they are big team,
18th happens to teams when grabbing a player from second tier league is thought of a good pick up. 18th happens to a team when their best player does not want to be there and their 2nd best player is Inter Milan reject.
18th happens to a team that instructs the new comers to blabber out words like tradition, biggest club, history, biggest club, best fans, European nights, biggest club,

Three bang average defenders, a midfield anchor of Horrenderson and Lucas "Der best midfielder in der werld" Leiva, and the Spanish second divison Aspas making his debut?

Good enough to beat Stoke but they'll get f*cking mullered by anyone decent.

"There I was minding my own business and doing a bit of prep in the press box, when I hear a smattering of applause from the few fans who are in the stadium. I look to my left and there is Luis Suarez out on the field holding his daughter in his arms and waving to the fans. He was in full club colours, although obviously he is banned from playing today. Positive sign for Liverpool supporters ahead of the big kick-off."

ahahahahahahaha, what the actual ****? how desperate are these fans, seriously, le tissier didn't recieve this much applause for staying with saints all season. are they seriously that desperate, he's made them look right mugs. Imagine if he leaves next week, how stupid will they look. he's only staying because the only club that were interested in him are arsenal and because you support a club which hires the biggest suckers for fans.

we won't be giving felli or baines half that applause and they deserve it 10 x as much

True. It's werid how teams can look good on paper, especially if they have unknown foreign players.
