I said to him "I hope you have a great career at Everton Jack. I think one day you will be our Captain"

Rodgers identified Carroll as a problem rather than changing his system to suit him, then binned him off and bemoaned the board for not backing him up and sorting out a deal for Dempsey. Originally what was Rodgers problem turned into an excuse for Rodgers.

He would make a fine politician.

They're tremendous. I've been in full taunting mode over Suarez wanting to leave, my close kopite mates are buzzing off it but the wider world of kopiteism isn't taking it too well.
