If he leaves to join Real Madrid for footballing reasons I can completely understand that as we are so far behind the top three clubs & the gap with their resources id growing.... But this leaving because of the press I find annoying as really until the bite he was winning everyone over & even for a time earlier this year was favourite to win all the individual awards (then Bale went to another level).
I dont agree with some of the stuff the press come out with but Suarez needs to stop giving them stuff to run with every couple of months letting himself down be it with us or a new club! The countries/ citys with daily football papers can be just as critical.

Has Luis invited some of it? Yes.
Being realistic, while he is a genius, we can't afford to be missing our best player for a quarter of a season every year. On top of that, while we are showing some progress, it is in no way guaranteed we will challenge the top 4 next year, and then its another season with Champions League football. While I don't buy into this ****e that players "have to" play in the Champions League these days, that seems to be the way of football sadly.
Given the amount of times he's said he's staying i'll be disappointed in him if he goes. I'm a relatively young fan and he's been my favourite player to wear the shirt but no one is bigger than the club, and hopefully the money can be invested well.

No one is bigger than the club. He's brought it all on himself really. Sublime player, but with the brain of a child sometimes. The key now is to get the most money we can from him. Also, I hope he isn't treated like Torres. Not only because he has given his all to this club for every minute he's been here, but we'd look like a proper bunch of hypocrite ****s if we turn on him after supporting him for so long.

I'm very thankful of Liverpool, I am happy because of the fans. I made a mistake, i am human, but they have spoken about me in ways they shouldn't have, my family has suffered and they (the press) have crossed limits. I'm tired of it. My daugfhter and wife have suffered. I'm not ready to keep suffering because of the English press.
I love liverpool, but if there is a possibility to play somewhere else... I suffered a lot as a child to get to where i am just to be cut down by the English press so unfairly. They don't value me as a player, they only look at my attitude.
