ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC"

He's chatting balls like. Watch how they celebrate when they win on Sunday. Aldo will go off his nut on City.

I get what he's saying, but the feeling is the same at both clubs, whereas he's trying to insinuate that we're ecstatic with our season because we're above them. Not true at all is it?

Oh, no doubt. Its like saying "not arsed" about something, then being arsed with that something happens. Everyone likes a derby win.

But I'd say a fair few are happy with finishing 6th/maybe 5th at a push and finishing above em rather than being upset about winning some silverware.

Moyes made the similar point in his conference but wasnt a tit about it like GBH was.

I'm still seething from last years Semi Final....This years Quarter against Wigan was more like a punch in the face than the kick in the balls the semi was

And yeah, it doesn't matter in the grand scheme of things, but then neither does football at all really, which is why that line of reasoning is a stupid argument.

The derby matters, and so does finishing above each other. The reason they're coming out and saying it doesn't is because they don't like being in this position, they hate admitting that we're the better team on Merseyside because they've had it good for so long.

Well i hope Gerrard pulls a hamstring going for a late equaliser on Sunday after Carragher puts it in his own net. That matters.

Sure, taking finances into account *yawn* we've done very well. The silverware issue is not overlooked though, imo. Some want everyone to cry about it and demand for the manager's head every time we go out of a competition, which is wrong, but when all their day-trippers belt out "tell yer mar" on Sunday, I don't think there'll be many blues who won't feel the semi and the Wigan games very strongly in the backs of their minds.

Yeah it pisses me off when you hear the little ******** mouthing off stuff like that but tbh it's only the same stuff Barkley will be spouting in a couple of years.

What dose my head in the most is we haven't had anyone in years to give them something back in the media. Whether that's got something to do with moyes not letting the players do it or we just didn't have any local lads in the team with the passion to wind the klan up I don't know.

The whole thing has a tinge of desperation to it to me. Because they all know if we win this derby then it really dose prove that we are top dogs in this city. Just a shame it's took them to become **** for it to happen and not us to truly take over them eh.

agree 100% was saying the same thing to my bro before I wish we had a player/manager to really give it to them something like di canio when he pissed off Newcastle's fans things like that become memories.

Only Mirallas IMO has the balls to give it out (the water bottle incident and the 3-1 hand signal to the Oldham fans) but its a shame we haven't got someone to do it in the media like Utd and Citeh do to each other
